Job Summary
Derry Credit Union continues to expand and grow in its common bond areas, BT47 & BT48. To support this growth and deliver a high-quality service to its members, the organization now seeks to appoint a Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Derry Credit Union's operations, compliance, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the delivery of a high standard of performance from all staff and stakeholders.
* Ensure effective management of operations, compliance, and performance.
* Lead a diverse team and manage change.
* Develop, deliver, and monitor strategic objectives.
Requirements
* Level 6 qualification in a business or finance-related discipline or accounting qualification.
* 3 years of experience in a senior role, including financial planning, financial management, HR management, IT systems, risk management, regulatory compliance, and leading a diverse team.
Desirable Qualifications
* Pathways Certificate/Diploma in Credit Union Operations (NI).
* Certificate in Credit Union Compliance & Risk (NI).
* Capacity to be authorized by regulators to operate in the financial services sector.
* Ability to work with a voluntary Board of Directors.
* Ability to build sustainable relationships in the local community and common bond area.
* Foster strong relations with the ILCU, credit union representative bodies, and regulatory bodies, including the PRA and FCA.
