Corela recruitment have partnered with Ireland's leading provider of therapeutic residential care for children, to recruit for Residential Social Care Workers.
The company offers an excellent remuneration package with a salary of up to €32,000/year (negotiable DOE) and a range of other benefits including:

Previous experience is not required for these roles; however, you must have a degree in one of the following:
1. Teaching
2. Nursing
3. Youth and community work
4. Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy

Some of the responsibilities include:
1. Support key workers in their work with individual children and, where appropriate, undertake key worker responsibilities.
2. Contribute to and participate in team meetings, core group meetings, Care planning meetings/Looked After Review meetings, and other meetings as required.
3. Participate, as appropriate, in implementing the care plan and placement plan for each child and young person in the home.
4. Inform line managers of any matters of concern in relation to the welfare of the children/young people, including any concerns regarding the behaviour or practice of other staff.
5. Be aware of Health and Safety at Work requirements as they pertain to this post and comply with the organisation's policies and procedures.
6. Participate in formal supervision in accordance with the organisation's supervision policy.
7. Maintain confidentiality in respect of staff and children/young people always.
8. Participate in staff training programmes as appropriate.
9. Undertake sleeping-in duties as required.
