Job Description
A key multinational client of ours in the area is currently seeking a Project Manager for a fully remote 12-month contract.
You will be responsible for all activities associated with the successful delivery of projects in line with business and Supply Chain strategies, to ensure financial and business-related targets are reached.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver on the project from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with business and Supply Chain objectives.
* Act as a senior member of the Project Delivery Team and QA the projects being led by the Project Manager's / external parties to ensure sufficient quality and progress is being made.
* Set and track project milestones; manage any impact assessments and realignment of schedules.
* Manage expectations with key stakeholders across all business units.
* Effective communications at all levels from Executive to Team level; strong verbal and written skills required.
* Develop and maintain all necessary project documentation including project plans, risk registers, as well as carrying out Budget management, and reporting.
* Monitor and report on project progress to all stakeholders and governance bodies.
Skills, Attributes & Experience
* The ideal candidate will have prior experience in leading large-scale initiatives in a fast-paced work environment with strong analytical ability, with a background in the Supply Chain space.
* Relevant 3rd-level qualification in Business, IT or related discipline.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience leading large-scale initiatives as a Project Manager.
* Project Management Certification (PMP, Prince2, CAPM etc) required.
* Strong people team and people management, communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to engage with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
* Outcome-driven with a focus on benefits realisation.
* Experienced and comfortable working across multiple projects within a programme management office.
* Demonstrated coaching and influencing skills with an ability to motivate and bring people with you on the journey.
* Strong organisational skills including the ability to multitask, and attention to detail.
