Organization Overview:
The Clinical Laboratory Sciences (CLS) organization is responsible for delivering reliable clinical data that enables our business partners and customers to make informed clinical and healthcare decisions.
The purpose of the Senior Manager, CLS role is to:
1. Provide solutions that enable the on-time delivery of our clinical portfolio.
2. Ensure that quality practices are at the core of all activities whether performed in-house or delegated to one of our TPOs.
3. Serve as first line supervision for their team members.
4. Foster an environment of shared learning where ideas, successes, and issues can be brought forward for the benefit of the entire team.

Basic Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree, a scientific, medical or project management related field preferred.
2. Ability to work in a virtual team environment, with outsourced partners.
3. Strong oral and written communication skills, able to communicate clearly and succinctly with team members and leadership.
4. Demonstrated ability to build and foster teamwork and to work across functions and regions.
5. Strong interpersonal and teambuilding skills; able to deliver effective coaching and feedback; positively manage and resolve conflict and demonstrate strong leadership and influence skills.
6. Ability to focus on multiple, competing priorities and demonstrate critical thinking.
7. Flexibility to adjust rapidly to unexpected business opportunities or altered priorities and deliver to timelines.
8. Ability to proactively identify potential issues and contingency plans.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
1. 2+ years supervisory experience.
2. Experience in clinical research and drug development.
3. Knowledge of and experience with discipline-related processes and technology and emerging IT capabilities used for clinical trial data and labs.
4. Capacity and workload management expertise.
5. Strong process orientation and customer/stakeholder focus.
6. Domestic and International travel may be required (10% per year).
