Technical Sales Advisor Roofing, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, Sales, Chemicals
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Roofing Technical Sales Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert technical advice and sales support to our customers & specifiers, helping them find the best roofing solutions for their projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary technical resource for customers and specifiers, offering expert advice on Sika's flat roofing systems.
* Identify projects and make contact with Specifiers/Owners and Main Contractors to promote Sika solutions via Specification proposals.
* Conduct building site inspections/surveys to make Specification recommendations.
* Attend project meetings with Contractors and Designers to make Specification recommendations.
* Meet or exceed sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships within Specifiers, Customers, and Contractors.
* Deliver CPD presentations to Specifiers & Contractors.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and project details in Sika's CRM system.
Your Expertise - Our Strength
* Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or related construction degree preferred.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a construction-related technical/specification sales role preferred.
* Previous experience of design or technical advice for flat roofing systems will be an advantage.
* Experience of conducting building site inspections/surveys and liaising with Contractors and Designers will be advantageous.
* Ability to understand key building regulations and construction details relating to roofing systems will be highly desirable.
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Basic knowledge of using AutoCAD would be an advantage.
* Valid driver's license.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
* Strong sales and negotiation skills.
