Job Description
We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead our sustainability and safety efforts across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental, health, and safety standards and the ability to drive positive change.
Key Responsibilities:
* Promote Safety Culture: Foster a safety-first mindset among all teams and ensure compliance with our EHS policies.
* Policy Management: Develop, update, and enforce safety protocols to adapt to changing regulations and business needs.
* Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate generation, storage, and management of all EHS records.
* Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them effectively.
* Incident Management: Conduct thorough investigations of accidents and incidents, ensuring corrective actions are completed and documented.
* Advisory Role: Provide expert guidance and support to colleagues at all levels on EHS matters.
* Compliance Audits: Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and internal reviews to ensure adherence to EHS standards.
* Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with management on safety and quality improvements using continuous improvement methodologies.
* Documentation and Analysis: Maintain detailed documentation and perform statistical analysis to drive data-informed EHS initiatives.
* Training & Development: Deliver EHS training for new and current employees to foster a knowledgeable and compliant workforce.
Requirements:
A third-level qualification in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS)
Minimum 5 years of experience in an EHS role, ideally in a regulated environment
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems; experience in process implementation
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
Certification in Manual Handling training is advantageous
