Head of Finance Position
The Head of Finance will report directly to the Managing Partner and will also liaise closely with the Finance Committee.
Overview of Responsibilities:
* Financial Control: Manage the finance team, implement metrics for timely and accurate completion and reconciliation of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash & Bank, Timesheet Recording, and Balance Sheet items.
* Review and develop current financial policies regarding Capital Structures, Liaising with Financial Institutions, Cashflow Management, Fee Rates, Firm Profitability, and Procurement / Expenditure Management.
Financial Reporting / Analysis:
* Presentation of monthly management accounts to the Partnership with relevant analysis of key business drivers.
* Commentary of variance between Actual and Budgeted Revenue and Expenditure, as well as forecasting of cashflow for future periods.
* Reporting on compliance levels of the Firms Procurement Policy.
Stakeholder Management:
* Effective management of external relationships with the Firms Bankers, Accountants, Corporate Advisors, and The Law Society of Ireland.
* Developing and maintaining good working relationships with the Firms Partners.
Requirements:
* Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA or CPA).
* At least 5 years Post Qualification Experience in a senior finance / leadership position.
* Demonstrated commercial / strategic acumen.
* Demonstrated ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
