Assistant Lending Manager Role
This is a permanent position within Home Building Finance Ireland (HBFI), a State agency lending money for the construction of new homes in Ireland.

Job Summary
The Assistant Lending Manager works as part of the Lending team, reporting to a Divisional Manager Lending (DML). The role involves managing and overseeing residential development projects from initial enquiry through to full repayment of any facility provided. Key responsibilities include:
* Providing operational and administrative support to Lending Managers and Senior Lending Managers.
* Building and maintaining relationships with customers requiring funding for residential development projects.
* Carrying out assessments of residential development projects, preparing clear and concise loan reports, and making recommendations to the sanctioning authority.
* Participating in regular reviews of borrower relationships and funded developments with the DML/HOL and other HBFI business areas.
* Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role in a financial institution with a prudential track record in residential development lending.
* Knowledge of residential development lending product offerings and markets.
* An excellent understanding of relevant financing models and data, including the ability to review, understand, and interpret audited financial accounts and financial forecasts.
* Demonstrated sound commercial judgement and awareness of the residential market in Ireland.
* A track record in managing credit quality and compliance with policies and procedures.
