Supply Chain Planner - Dublin, Ireland - 12 Months Contract

Responsibilities include:
1. Develop and actively manage supply plans for relevant materials associated with the product portfolio within the area of responsibility.
2. Prepare and maintain stock overviews for the relevant products including supply and demand requirements and levels of expected inventory on hand.
3. Work with the Global Supply Chain Inventory Optimisation team to set targets for relevant RSMs, intermediates, APIs, and bulks as appropriate.
4. Plan and maintain the required inventory level of starting materials, API, and bulk as agreed. Plan for storage of the required inventory in the most appropriate location.
5. Interrogate SAP demand and engage with customers and Global Supply Chain to understand the drivers behind demand changes and engage with stakeholders to align on demand requirements.
6. Ensure SAP demand is aligned with actual requirements and engage with internal and external customers and Global Supply Chain as required to resolve any discrepancies.
7. Review any forecast changes on a monthly basis and prepare updated forecasts for communication to CMO.
8. Ownership and maintenance of accurate planning master data for all products within the area of responsibility.
9. Plan and effectively manage the supply impact of any change involving a regulatory impact.
10. Work with the Global Supply Chain Product Planner or SCPL as necessary to ensure product strategy is understood, adhered to, and implemented.
11. Liaise with customers and coordinate supply planning with Supply Chain VPT representatives to minimize the impact of supply delays, quality events, line shutdowns, projects, etc. on supply to customers and engage with VPT Supply Chain leads and the wider Supply Chain team as necessary.
12. Placement and maintenance of purchase orders in SAP.
13. Provide input into metrics discussions and participate in metrics review meetings as required.
14. Communicate any product-related inventory risk to ExM inventory control and finance teams in a timely manner.
15. Maintain/develop strong relationships with supply chain counterparts at other sites, Global Supply Chain, and CMOs.
16. Participate in Global Supply Chain meetings as required to ensure alignment on the implementation of product strategy.
17. Lead supply chain meetings with customers as appropriate to ensure alignment on customer requirements and consumption plans.
18. Execute scenario planning and develop recommendations for contingency plans as necessary.
19. Responsible for compiling and presenting volume information as part of the ExM S&OP process.
20. Responsible for the compilation of volume information to support budget and projection activities and providing rationale in relation to the drivers behind variances.
21. Provide supply chain planning input to the SSC allocation process and lead the process as appropriate.
22. Proactively identify and resolve any constraints in supply through engagement with CMOs and VPT teams as necessary.
Key requirements include:
1. APICS or related qualification
2. Supply Chain experience in a global manufacturing and supply environment.
3. Understanding of Supply Chain and Regulatory operations in a cGMP environment.
4. Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry
5. Knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP and SAP BW reporting, and related data analysis tools.
6. Knowledge and understanding of planning master data.
7. Understanding of Supply Chain, products, and markets.
