Job Title: PLC ProgrammerLocation: Ireland & the UKJob Type: PermanentJob Description:We are seeking an experienced and dedicated PLC Programmer to join our team on a permanent basis in Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Siemens TIA Portal and Siemens Step 7, with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a client-facing environment.Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement PLC programs using Siemens TIA Portal and Siemens Step 7. - Perform PLC installation, testing, and commissioning. - Develop and configure HMI interfaces. - Troubleshoot and resolve PLC and HMI system issues. - Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical support. - Prepare and maintain documentation for PLC systems and processes. - Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams as needed. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. - Work closely with project managers and other team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.Requirements: - Proven experience as a PLC Programmer. - Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal and Siemens Step 7. - Strong understanding of PLC installation and commissioning processes. - Experience with HMI development and configuration. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a client-facing environment. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Willingness to travel within Ireland as required.Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field. - Certifications in Siemens PLC programming. - Experience in various industrial sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, or pharmaceuticals.If you are a motivated and skilled PLC Programmer looking for a permanent role in Ireland, we would love to hear from you.
