The Mater Misericordiae University Hospital (MMUH) Nursing Quality Department is seeking an innovative, enthusiastic, motivated, passionate and experienced Patient Safety & Quality Improvement Facilitator to lead and support nursing staff in delivering care that is evidence based and responsive to patient safety and service users' needs.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Assistant Director of Nursing Quality in leading, developing and delivering a comprehensive quality and patient safety agenda in line with local, national and international standards.
They will enhance the capacity and capability of nursing staff to improve patient safety by designing and delivering information and training on quality improvement methodologies which they can use in their day-to day-work.
They will seek to actively acknowledge and include the insights and experiences of patients and their families within the work of the MMUH, utilising knowledge gained from the national patient experience survey to inform this work.
A key function of the post will be the implementation of best practices to improve: patient safety, clinical outcomes and patient experience in the MMUH.
