Job Description:
A proactive and varied role for a competent and experienced Sustainability & Environmental Lead, to oversee the day-to-day operations and management of the company's ESG strategy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards and reporting on same through the group reporting platform.
Key Accountabilities
* Support in the area of environmental management / consultancy for regulated facilities
* Prepare environmental regulatory applications and licence compliance reports
* Prepare or input into Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR)
* Prepare and implement Environmental Management Plans and systems to ISO 14001 & 50001 standards
* Completion of energy/environmental audits to identify opportunities for improvement and improve climate change resilience for Sensori direct as well as external customers
* Understand and apply current and proposed Environmental & Sustainability related legislation
* Assist clients with sustainability objectives e.g. Circular Economy Adaptation, Climate Action Plans, Carbon Management and Sustainability master planning, GAP to BER Analysis and Equipment Lifecycle
* Energy Audit Report & Technical Report Writing
* Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency, reduce waste, and implement sustainable practices across the company.
* Always behave in a manner fitting to the business ethos and always maintain the Company's standards.
* Act as a brand ambassador as you represent the Company through its ongoing expansion
* Be open to engaging in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) as necessary to meet the evolving needs of the role.
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
* Qualification (Level 8) in Engineering/ Environmental/ Sustainability or related subject
* AEE, SEAI or ISO auditor certification
* Significant experience in the area of environmental management/consultancy
* Good knowledge and understanding of environmental/sustainability legislation and EU BAT/BREF
* Working knowledge of LEED, BREEAM and/or GRESB desirable
* Experience with carbon consulting and assessment of renewable technologies desirable
* Experience in design or implementation of EnMS/ BEMS or other M&T systems
* Clear and confident communication skills
* Minimum of 5 years' experience working within the construction/M&E industry desirable
* Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
* Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
* Excellent analytical and planning ability
* Must possess exceptional time management and organisational skills
* Highly proficient level of IT literacy
* Strong understanding of FM/Building (Mechanical & Electrical) services
