Job Description
The Production Operator will be responsible for assembling, testing and handling all products in line with documented specifications and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Quality: Ensure that all products supplied to customers meet the highest possible quality levels and conform to specification requirements.
* Productivity: Produce the correct number of products in line with production plans as communicated by Supervisors and Team Leaders.
* Teamwork: Participate as a team member during each day of employment and work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to achieve goals.
* Time Keeping: Arrive at work station prior to shift changeover duties and make themselves available for assigned tasks.
* Attendance: Turn up for work at the start of each shift in a timely manner.
* Quality: Perform operations in line with processes, manufacturing instructions and specifications, paying attention to specific customer requirements.
* Teamwork: Cooperate with colleagues and supervisors in a positive manner to achieve goals.
* Productivity: Reach specified targets within individual manufacturing areas within the specified time frame.
* Dress Code: Wear suitable protective equipment such as ESD work coats, eye glasses etc within designated work area.
* Communication: Communicate any problems or issues to direct supervisor as quickly as possible to prevent unnecessary downtimes or safety risks.
* Attitude: Display a positive, cooperative attitude at all levels within the company.
* Measurement: Be reviewed on a regular basis on categories including Timekeeping, Quality, Productivity, Teamwork, Attitude, Initiative, Creativity, Communications, Development potential.
Personnel Specifications:
* Operators must have a good positive manner and behave in a professional and acceptable fashion.
* Operators must be flexible, being able to work in different areas as required by their supervisors.
* Operators must be able to communicate well with their colleagues, supervisors, Team Leaders and Managers.
* Operators must be able to carry out variable shift work as required by the current business conditions.
