Base pay range
Your new company operates internationally in every aspect of construction and maintenance for roads and other types of transport infrastructure, as well as on projects involving urban development and recreational facilities. The company's operation in Ireland primarily involves the distribution of bitumen products, emulsion manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, and the provision of specialist road maintenance services on the national, regional, and local roads network. Their operation in Ireland is an all-island cross-border business operating from 12 locations.
About Your New Role
Your new role would be a Junior Civil Engineer working primarily in the highway maintenance division of the company.
* Daily site visits to both asphalt crews and civils crews.
* Development of site progress reports.
* Ordering of site materials, ensuring Health, Safety & Environmental standards, policies, and procedures are being adhered to on sites.
* Use of GPS for setting out, measuring, and as-built records.
* Tracking of site costs.
* Application for road opening licenses.
* Development of traffic management plans.
* Preparation of relevant paperwork for new projects.
* Updating of relevant contract safety files.
What Skills You Need
* Minimum 2 years Irish Civil Engineering experience.
* Experience in using AutoCAD.
* Experience using GPS.
* Proficient in MS Office.
* Full driving license.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Diploma/Degree Level in Civil Engineering/Construction Management.
