The Registered Nurse shares responsibility with the nursing team for maintaining a high standard of nursing care under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager.
They will focus on maintaining a high standard of professional and ethical responsibility and continuously develop their clinical expertise, leadership and teaching skills through nursing practice in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and Health, Information and Quality Authority (HIQA).
Your duties: Providing safe, comprehensive nursing care to our clients within the guidelines specified by the NMBI and HIQA.
Assisting in the management and care of our clients, with particular focus on our Healthcare policies and procedures and the Health Information and Quality Authority standards.
Providing educational support to fellow healthcare professionals.
Maintaining accurate records in line with the company policy Monitoring clients' health and wellbeing Following confidentiality guidelines while working with our clients Maintaining a high level of professional integrity and clinical practice in accordance with the code of Professional Conduct for Nurses as prescribed by Nursing and Midwifery Board Ireland.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Ability to work on own initiative.
A fluent level of English both written and oral is essential.
Previous nursing experience.
Knowledge of HIQA standards.
Bachelor's Degree in nursing.
Full registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
Valid Patient Manual Handling Certificate.
Valid CPR/BLS Certificate.
Valid Elder Abuse Certificate.
Valid Medication Management Certificate.
Valid Children's First Certificate.
Valid Infection prevention and Control Certificate.
Must be eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland.
