About the Role
As a key member of the Energy Services team at Energia Group, you will play a crucial role in delivering energy savings required to meet our Energy Efficiency Obligation Scheme (EEOS). This includes implementing commercial and domestic energy efficiency projects, developing energy management strategies, and ensuring compliance with environmental, regulatory, and commercial interests.
You will also be responsible for helping develop new business opportunities and products for our commercial and domestic customers. Your expertise will be invaluable in shaping our approach to energy efficiency and sustainability.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure delivery of Energia s Energy Efficiency Obligation Scheme (EEOS).
* Stay up-to-date with national legislation and policy affecting EEOS, including Fit for 55 initiatives.
* Provide energy audits for commercial customers.
* Measure and verify commercial energy efficiency projects.
* Offer sustainable solutions for upgrading commercial and industrial plant and equipment.
* Liaise with customers and vendors on energy efficiency retrofit projects.
* Manage the EEOS Quality Management System.
* Report on EUETS2 requirements.
* BUILD and maintain relationships with statutory bodies, customers, suppliers, and vendors.
Your Qualifications and Experience:
* A degree in Engineering or an Energy-related field (e.g., Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, Structural Engineering, Construction).
* At least 5 years of experience in providing energy audits and energy solutions for commercial, retail, and industrial sectors.
* In-depth knowledge of energy efficiency products and emerging technologies, including heat pumps, HVAC, VSDs, compressors, demand side units, solar PV, and battery storage.
* Proven involvement in implementing ISO: 50001 standards.
* Project Management experience.
