You will be provided with the support of the wider Information Technology team and given the support and guidance necessary to succeed. This is a real opportunity to improve, design and implement new Business Intelligence solutions for Barry Group and become a key team member vital to all aspects of our operation. We are seeking a candidate with a good technical foundation and a love of technology.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collaboration and Design:
1. Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their data visualisation needs
2. Designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate Tableau with other business systems
2. Documentation and Reporting:
1. Extracting and transforming data from various sources to create meaningful visualisations
3. Performance Tuning and Optimisation:
1. Be part of our ongoing automation and process improvement initiatives
2. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data visualisation and reporting
3. Monitoring data quality and integrity within Tableau reports and dashboards
4. Providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making processes
5. Staying up to date with Tableau's latest features and enhancements
4. Security and Compliance:
1. Developing and implementing data governance and security measures
Experience/Qualifications
1. Proven experience as a business analyst
2. Training and documentation skills
3. Business or IT related Degree
4. Minimum 3 years’ experience
Desirable
1. Python
2. Tableau
3. Familiar with Agile development methodologies
4. DATA Science and Analytics qualification
5. SQL
