RPS/ TetraTech is seeking to recruit an experienced Graduate IT Administrator to join our team in Galway. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join an exciting team, build their technical skills and develop a career in IT in a truly Global Technology Team.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide onsite support as part of team to 100+ engineering/technical staff
* Provide remote support to other sites in Ireland/Europe
* Autodesk application suite support for technical staff
* Roll out of office hardware and software during refresh/upgrade cycles
* Video conference and VOIP telephony systems support
* Administration of industry standard IT systems
* Application and execution of ISO 27001 information security policies and controls throughout the business
* Assist in the delivery of IT projects as/when required.
* Print systems support
Qualifications/Requirements
* Relevant 3rd level qualification and/or industry certifications such as:
* ITIL, MCP, MCSA, CCNA, COMPTIA
Skills/Experience
* 1 – 2 years’ experience in at least two of the following:
* Desktop support including peripherals
* Server support including backup technologies
* Network – LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, switching, patching
* Security – firewall, AV, encryption
* VOIP telephone administration
* Azure/O365 administration
* Installation and support of client OS and the common application stack
* Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Customer service orientation
* Possess an ability to follow/apply established processes and procedures
* Must be flexible and work out of hours when needed
* Full, clean driving license
