Our team places a strong emphasis on the quality of coffee and the level of service provided to our customers. Suitable candidates should have experience working in similar environments, be motivated, possess excellent customer care skills, be confident communicators, and have a passion for helping people. As a manager, you should be eager to learn and develop, have a desire to succeed, contribute positively to our team, and promote our unique brand. We are currently recruiting experienced coffee shop managers to lead our Café Sol concepts. The primary responsibilities include ensuring exceptional customer care and operational standards to maximize sales and profitability while controlling costs. The successful candidates will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to providing excellent customer service with attention to detail. Previous experience with coffee is essential; experience managing similar operations is preferable. Key Responsibilities: Lead the quality, customer service, and presentation standards of the coffee shop, providing supervision in all areas. Maintain excellent communication with senior management. Deliver fast, friendly, and efficient customer service. Operate a 3-group manual/semi-automatic coffee machine and manage the grinder throughout the day. Ensure espresso shots and milk are prepared to high standards. Assist with food preparation, set up counters, and merchandise the kiosk, controlling all products from entry to exit. Develop and maintain a cleaning schedule to ensure hygiene and food safety standards are met. Monitor and implement the HACCP programme, ensuring food safety, presentation, hygiene, and quality standards. Place product orders with suppliers regularly and manage waste control. Adhere to company policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring staff compliance. Provide ongoing staff training, motivation, and skill development. Plan and execute work schedules to ensure flexibility, job rotation, and maximum productivity. Address problems promptly and report issues to senior management. Perform emergency duties as needed to ensure smooth operations. Requirements: Proficiency in English; professional and polite manner essential. Barista skills and knowledge of coffee. Flexibility to work up to 5 days over 7. Experience with a 3-group machine or similar equipment. Trained in HACCP and Food Safety standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong interest in coffee. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. This position is with Café Sol, part of Dunnes Stores.
