Job Overview:
Key to success in this role is a deep understanding of the Electrical, Mechanical and Construction industries.
Based in Dublin, you will be responsible for site visits and office-based work.
Salary: 70 – 80k DOE and Company Benefits.
Required Skills:
* Degree qualified in an EHS discipline.
* 5 years' experience in a fast-paced commercial environment.
* Internal Auditing certification, including Integrated Management Systems (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001) highly desirable.
* Expert knowledge of Irish Health & Safety and Environmental legislation and regulations.
* Qualifications in Training Evaluation & Delivery, First Aid Responder, Manual Handling Trainer and DSE Assessor preferred.
* Knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical and Construction industries essential.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office with ability to generate detailed monthly reports.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop guidelines, processes and documentation to support health and safety and environmental compliance.
* Prepare and inspect Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) and PSCS documentation.
* Conduct administrative and site audits to ensure contractual obligations are being met.
* Observe personnel on-site to ensure EHS compliance, including monitoring subcontractors and employees.
* Lead and coordinate incident investigations and utilise root cause analysis.
* Ensure continued compliance with regulatory standards, including ISO 14000 and ISO 45001.
* Identify incidents and implement corrective measures.
* Manage employee training records and create content for the EHS intranet.
* Perform other duties as necessary for business efficiency.
