This crucial management and field-based customer-facing role is pivotal in leading, developing, coaching and motivating the Ireland sales team. The primary focus is to discover, map and build strategic relationships with Healthcare, Policy and Payer stakeholders, aligning with our growth ambitions and improving patient access to Coloplast products and services in Ireland.
The Role -
As the Market Access Lead, you will lead, develop, coach, and motivate the Ireland sales team, growing revenue and market share through all commercial opportunities. You will be customer-facing, identifying and developing relationships with KOLs, including payers and business leads within the Healthcare ecosystem. Using insights and business intelligence, you will partner with Marketing to create innovative campaigns that enhance Coloplast’s value proposition and drive business growth. You will have full autonomy in the creation, execution, and delivery of results via the Ireland annual business plan. Additionally, you will collaborate with the wider Coloplast team across the UK&I and globally to develop strategies and tools that support market expansion of our current portfolio.
You will fully understand the changing Healthcare, Policy & Payer environment in Ireland, sharing expertise and best practices within the wider Coloplast team. Partnering with the Country Manager, you will evaluate commercial data and environmental information, aligning on impactful projects for development. You will identify and map Healthcare, Policy & Payer stakeholders, developing impactful and sustainable relationships that provide a positive environment for promoting Coloplast’s portfolio of products and services. Partnering with Clinical Services, you will develop innovative strategies that support an exceptional patient experience. You will develop clear, evidenced value messages and tools to support the full value offering of Coloplast’s products and services, rooted in identified payer unmet needs. Furthermore, you will contribute to the development and evaluation of innovative pricing strategies to protect and grow the business.
Who Are We Looking For?

You should promote agility with a positive mindset to respond to change and possess a strong and decisive leadership style. As a commercially astute sales professional with a proven track record in delivering results, you will be highly collaborative with good influencing and negotiating skills.
You should have direct people leadership experience with a track record of personal and people development. You should have an excellent understanding of the HSE/PCRS and HSCNI landscape and their needs for value arguments based on clinical evidence and cost-effectiveness. Exceptional business planning skills are essential, along with a proven ability to think ahead, engage proactively, and take initiative with the ability to anticipate and influence future environmental change. While a full understanding of the Ostomy/Continence market dynamics is desirable, it is not essential.
