Role Overview:
As a Junior Safety Advisor, you will support our senior EHS professionals in delivering safety solutions across a variety of projects. You’ll play an important role in maintaining safety standards, conducting site inspections, and helping to embed a culture of safety across client operations. Construction experience is highly beneficial, as many of our clients operate within the construction and civil engineering sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the implementation and enforcement of health and safety policies and procedures on site
* Assist with site inspections, audits, and reporting to ensure compliance with regulations
* Contribute to risk assessments and help identify appropriate control measures
* Aid in incident investigations, reporting, and follow-up actions
* Support the delivery of toolbox talks and safety training sessions
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety documentation
* Liaise with site teams, contractors, and clients to promote safety awareness and best practice
* Stay informed of legislative changes and industry trends in health and safety
Requirements:
* Degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
* 0–2 years of experience in a safety-related role (internships or site placements welcome)
* Construction site experience or familiarity with construction environments is a strong advantage
* Knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation and relevant codes of practice
* Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
* Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
* Competency in Microsoft Office and safety reporting tools
* Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification beneficial
