In this role, you will oversee employees and activities across various areas of quality, ensuring smooth and continuous operations. This includes NCR, resource management, training, and development of manufacturing role employees. You will also be responsible for projects focused on yield and process improvement, as well as leading the implementation of new systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise employees and quality activities related to product production and/or manufacturing processes in multiple areas, utilizing quality/technical knowledge.
* Conduct performance reviews, including resolving performance issues, and ensure appropriate staffing for all positions.
* Oversee scheduling of work orders and team performance metrics, and provide regular progress reports to management and cross-functional stakeholders.
* Ensure staff is properly trained to perform assigned work, and monitor labour variances to meet established standards.
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree required.
* 2 years of experience with full responsibility for personnel management, including hire/fire authority and employee relations in manufacturing, quality, and/or product development engineering.
Additional Skills:
* Experience leading multi-cultural teams with cultural sensitivity, and project management skills.
* Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, preferably JDE.
* Working knowledge of the medical device industry preferred, along with excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
* Adequate control measures to prevent injuries and protect the environment.
