Are you an experienced Quality Engineer? If so, then this is the role for you! A leading Manufacturing company based in County Longford is currently looking to add to their well-established team who specialize in solutions for the medical & pharmaceutical sector.

You will assist the Quality Manager in the implementation of Quality Management Systems and support the overall quality across the company and work with the Engineering Team.
Roles & Responsibilities Include:
1. Design and implement the quality processes across production.
2. Be accountable for the quality arrangement and documentation of every activity within the business and work closely with the Engineering Team.
3. Setting manufacturing quality metrics, KPI’s and calibrations.
4. Perform problem identification, resolution, loss reporting, and continuous improvement.
5. Develop, execute, and analyze quality reporting measures.
6. Assist with other functional department employees to ensure knowledge of all quality standards and ensure compliance with all quality manuals and procedures.
7. Participate in internal and external quality audits.
8. Develop and determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures.
9. Perform surveillance visits of all work methods and maintain knowledge of all quality assurance standards.
10. Engage with the supply chain and project team for a correct deployment of quality processes.
11. Work closely with sales and technical support to ensure client issues are investigated thoroughly, root causes are traced, and corrective actions are implemented.
Skills & Experience Required:
1. Level 8 Degree or Equivalent within a Science or Engineering related discipline.
2. A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer within an Injection Moulding or medical manufacturing environment.
3. Injection Moulding Experience.
4. Understanding of calibrations.
5. Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication.
6. Ability to learn and respond to ever-changing environments.
7. Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
