About the Role:
As the Accommodation Manager, you will take charge of leading and managing all aspects of our Accommodation department, working closely with the General Manager and Deputy General Manager to drive excellence across the hotel.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of service for our guests and employees by overseeing the cleanliness, presentation, and smooth operation of our guest rooms and public areas. Daily checks will be part of your routine to ensure everything is spotless and in top condition.
This is about identifying opportunities for improvement, collaborating across departments, and ensuring that everything runs efficiently. You’ll manage the department’s budget while maintaining the exceptional service that makes us stand out.

Key Responsibilities:
In this active hands-on position, you will be responsible for (non-conclusive list):
* Champion the company vision and inspire your team to uphold our high standards.
* Conduct regular inspections to maintain top-notch cleanliness and quality.
* Lead and motivate your team, managing staffing levels and schedules effectively.
* Manage department budgets, procurement, and inventory to meet financial goals.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security standards.
* Collaborate with other departments to deliver seamless guest experiences.
* Tackle maintenance issues swiftly to keep rooms and public areas in perfect shape.
* Oversee waste management, linen returns, and key security with attention to detail.
* Respond to guest requests with enthusiasm, ensuring a memorable stay.
* Identify training opportunities and support your team’s growth and development.
* Conduct performance reviews, address issues, and drive team success.
* Foster a positive, energetic environment while promoting sustainability initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:
* Qualification in Hotel Management preferred but not required.
* At least 5 years Senior Accommodation experience in a 4/5-star hotel required.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Ability to prepare and manage departmental budgets.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage schedules and department operations.
* Exceptional focus on cleanliness, safety, and overall guest experience.
* Flexible and proactive, with the ability to assist other departments as needed.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Commitment to implementing sustainability practices.
* Willingness to work a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items (with assistance as per Manual Handling Best Practice).
