Key Responsibilities User Experience (UX) Design Apply user-centred design principles to develop accessible and user-friendly digital services.
Conduct user research to identify needs, behaviours, and challenges.
Design user journeys that ensure seamless task completion and intuitive navigation.
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to illustrate design ideas.
Maintain UX documentation such as personas and user journey maps.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.
Content Design Develop clear, concise, and engaging content for websites, applications, and digital interfaces.
Ensure all content meets accessibility standards and is aligned with brand voice and tone.
Translate complex information into user-friendly formats, including guides and forms.
Conduct usability testing to validate content effectiveness and refine as needed.
Provide training and audits to ensure all digital content adheres to best practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with service designers, developers, and stakeholders to integrate content and UX seamlessly into digital products.
Advocate for user-centric design throughout the product lifecycle.
Testing and Optimisation Conduct usability testing to validate designs and gather actionable feedback.
Use analytics tools to assess performance and optimise content and design for user engagement.
Ensure compliance with relevant accessibility and legal standards.
Key Skills and Qualifications Proven experience in UX design, content design, or a related field.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and content management systems.
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create simple, clear content.
Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
Experience conducting user research and applying insights to design decisions.
Familiarity with analytics tools to track content performance.
Strong organisational and communication skills, with experience working in agile environments.
