Procurement Officer Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Officer to join our team for an initial 10-month period, with the possibility of extension.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Evaluating and recommending tenders to the appropriate committee
* Providing procurement advice on policy and procedures
* Maintaining procurement information systems
* Liaising with external bodies regarding procurement
* Developing partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
About You
To be considered for this role, you will require:
* At least 3 years of relevant procurement experience or 4 years of experience with a willingness to work towards CIPS membership
* A working knowledge of best practice procurement procedures
