Eir evo talent are currently seeking applicants for a Junior Cybersecurity Project Manager. This is a day rate contract position located with our client in North Dublin. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days on site per week.
Responsibilities:
* Co-ordinate updating of list of tasks / activities / actions from Technical Lead and Project Manager
* Follow-up with action owners including estimating delivery / target dates and capturing regular progress updates (e.g. weekly)
* Escalation to Technical Lead and Project Manager where updates are not provided, or where uncertainty / delays arise
* Provide assistance to Technical Lead and Project Manager as required – may include
o Performing tests (following steps / guidance)
o Documenting test results, reviewing outputs for errors etc
o Drafting procedures and process guidance
o Reviewing ISMS documents (standards / policies etc) as non-specialist to check clarity
o Organising project meetings and note taking during meetings
o Documenting minutes and actions and circulating after meetings.
Requirements:
* A keen interest in Project Management and/or Cyber Security
* Structured / methodical thinking with good record keeping, communications / interpersonal skills required
* Ability to
o Engage people via email, Team calls, or in person
o Balance delivery of project updates with understanding of the busy work environment (on call etc)
o Work with a degree of uncertainty of deadlines / outcomes
o Accurately document updates and read back to stakeholders (checking understanding etc)
* Familiar with (or able to learn quickly) IT Service Desk toolset and procedures including
o Change Management processes and how they are implemented in ServiceNow
o Structure and responsibilities across the Labs teams
o Raising changes with appropriate documentation
o Identifying key stakeholders
* Interest in learning and expanding knowledge in Cyber Security, Service Delivery and how programmes and projects are delivered.
