About the Role
Morgan McKinley is partnering with a national organization to find an experienced and dedicated Transport Project Specialist for a key assignment with our client.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Management: Lead and coordinate transport-related projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with the clients strategic goals and compliance with industry standards.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main liaison between the client and project stakeholders, building and maintaining strong relationships to facilitate effective communication and project delivery.
* Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct detailed analyses on transport data to inform project decisions, prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders, and recommend solutions for identified issues.
* Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all project activities comply with relevant regulations, guidelines, and best practices within the transport sector.
* Auditing: Internal, external Risk Management: Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve issues to keep projects on track. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve project management methodologies and operational processes to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
Key Requirements
* Bachelors degree in Transport Planning, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Proven experience managing complex projects, Strong knowledge of transport regulations and industry standards within Ireland (Desirable)
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
* Demonstrated capability in building and managing stakeholder relationships.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, with occasional on-site visits as required.
