Location: Hybrid, St. Stephens Green, Dublin Contract Type: Permanent: 3 days per week Closing Date: 8th April 2025 Royal London Ireland is seeking applications for a Marketing Communications Executive who will assist and lead in the development of effective, thought-leadership, communications campaigns that support the delivery of Royal London Ireland's marketing plan and objectives.
Content and copy writing, editing and compelling storytelling across channels and audiences is key for this role.
It will, in-effect, share a position with one other marketing team executive who also works three-days per week, Monday to Wednesday.
So this role, will be to work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The role sits in the compact market team which is varied and dynamic across all elements of the marketing mix and involves B2B and B2C2B audiences.
This role will work closely on our PR objectives.
The marketing team forms part of the wider Proposition Department, including actuarial, pensions and protection product development and funds specialists, all working closely together.
This is a hybrid role, with c.50% of time office-based and c. 50% remote working.
Key Responsibilities Support with planning, management, and delivery of a comprehensive communications plan, with a particular focus on PR, within agreed timescales and budgets and across channels.
Deliver though-leadership campaigns and manage relevant updates across collateral ensuring a consistent application of any change across all media channels.
Develop and deliver press releases and articles that raise key issues and support our brand positioning.
Develop and produce quality and consistent content for online channels, including websites, social media, newsletters, and emails.
Work with key internal specialists and translate technical information into digestible and easily understood content, complying with industry regulations.
Seek creative and effective ways of promoting our business Purpose, proposition benefits, features and positioning to Financial Brokers and customers.
Coordinate and ensure key stakeholder management in all campaigns and communications.
Brief and work with external agencies (design/print/creative/PR) to support campaigns and projects within agreed timescales and budgets.
Assist with delivery of a comprehensive marketing plan, supporting the wider team, within agreed timescales and budgets.
Essential Criteria Educated in a marketing/communications discipline.
Experience in a marketing/communications role, with responsibility for delivering meaningful PR outputs.
Experience in content creation, and editing across a variety of media, both traditional and digital, but ideally with a particular focus on PR.
Strong time management and project management skills.
