Overall Purpose of the Job Support the day-to-day operations on the ground. Be responsible for the support of GMP and non-GMP Cleaning operatives and Supervisors. Liaise closely and professionally with the Site Manager in dealing with day-to-day operational matters. Main duties and responsibilities Ensures the smooth running of the site, adhering to the Site Service Level Agreement and Services Specification. To assist the Site Manager in the supervision of the cleaning service staff, including the allocation of workloads, monitoring progress and performance, determining work priorities, paying particular attention to productivity and quality control. To assist in the undertaking of site cleaning audits. To control and monitor the correct use of appropriate cleaning materials, to ensure all staff aware of Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSSH). To control and monitor the use of cleaning equipment, arranging the repair or renewal of equipment and make recommendations to the Site Manager. To carry out stock checks on equipment, consumables and materials as required. To carryout on the job training of the cleaning staff in accordance with relevant company and client practices. To organize the provision of relief/ holiday cover for cleaning staff as required in conjunction with the Site Manager. To authorize, allocate, and record in conjunction with the Site Manager cleaning staff absences. Perform ad-hoc duties and other related tasks as assigned by the Site Manager. Continuously coach and communicate to all staff any outstanding issues. Promote own it culture and proactive safety approach. Manage, develop, and mentor all shifts team. Engage the shift Team Leads to deliver cleaning schedule requirements while maintaining a culture of compliance, safety, and innovation. Team Leader will play the role to assist in the provision of an efficient and effective cleaning service in accordance with contractual obligations and company policy and standards. Engage the shift Team Leads to deliver cleaning schedule requirements while maintaining a culture of compliance, safety, and innovation. To control and ensure that all staff are following all Standard Operation Procedures (SOP). Cleaning Matrix put in place and modify when required. TMS input of hours for your team. To ensure that all documentation and logbooks entries are completed as per Good Documentation Practice (GDP). To ensure that all staff are following Safety procedures and familiar with Risk Assessment Method Statement (RAMS), Safe Plan of Action (SPA) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements for specific tasks. Scheduling daily activities in fair manner and ensuring that cleaning Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) are being followed. Check that all cleans are completed per schedule at least within 3 days of week ending. To control training records and to ensure that all staff training records are up to date. Continuously coach and communicate to all staff any outstanding issues. Flexibility and ability to work on day/night shift (12 hours). To assist the Site Manager in the supervision of the cleaning service staff, including the allocation of workloads, monitoring progress and performance, determining work priorities, paying particular attention to productivity and quality control. To Update RAMs as required. To control use of Mops and control usage of same with supplier Carry out appraisals within your team. This position may be a representative of the Site Manager in appropriate circumstances. The Representative may act on behalf of or instead of Soft Services Site Manager throughout the entire range of GMP cleaning activities, provided that he/she is satisfied with the ability of the representative to do so, and a prior consultation has taken place appropriate.
