This 12 month hybrid contract for a Finance Assistant has come to market. The role, which is within a national energy provider, is the perfect opportunity to develop your career

Key Responsibilities:
1. Management of daily receipts and payments.
2. Responsibility for weekly report collation, pricing updates, issuing invoices and input to ERP system.
3. Process bank receipts and payments via ERP System
4. Assist with accounts receivable activities including issuing invoices and statements.
5. Respond to external queries from customers in a timely manner.
6. Analysis of financial/volume information and report preparation.
7. Month-end and quarter-end support across the department
8. Support the Finance Team where required in the ongoing implementation of a new ERP system.
9. Support to Finance Team at month-end and quarter-end.
10. Team collaboration within the Accounts Payable and Accounts Recievable functions.
11. Assisting the finance department with ad hoc queries as and when required.
Key Requirements:
12. Minimum 2 years experience in a Finance based role
13. Proven strong working knowledge/experience using Excel
14. Experience in SAP is desirable but not essential.
15. Experience of processing general ledger journals.
16. Strong analyticalskills and good attention to detail.
17. Ability to prioritise tasks and deliver agreed targets.
18. Self-motivated and driven
19. Proven capabilities of working within a team environment
20. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
21. Excellent customer service skills.
