Daughters of Charity Community Services: Early Years Childcare Practitioners x 3 (Full-Time & Part-Time positions available) & Relief Panel
The Daughters of Charity Community Services (DoCCS), located at 9 Henrietta Street, Dublin 1, provides a range of educational, training and social care services for adults, youth and children in the North Inner City.
We are recruiting Early Years Childcare Educators:
1. Permanent full-time Lead Educator contract for 33 Hours Weekly. Part time 25 hours weekly.
2. Specific purpose Lead Educator contract to cover maternity leave - 33 hours weekly.
3. Specific purpose Educator contract to cover illness – 33 hours weekly.
4. Relief panel – hours as needed.
Required Skills and Competencies:
Essential:
* Minimum QQI Level 5 or QQI level 7/8 for lead roles or relevant equivalent is required.
* A passion for working with young children and their families.
* Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Strong organisational skills, with an ability to manage multiple work tasks and a busy environment.
Advantage:
* Experience working in an Early Years setting.
* Experience of working in a community-based Early Years’ Service would be a distinct advantage.
* Experience and training in Síolta & Aistear.
The Services close for a defined Christmas break, Easter break, and August.
Hours: Full time: 9am – 4pm (Mon – Thurs) and 9am – 2pm (Fri) with last hour non-contact time daily for preparation.
Part time: Mon to Fri 9am to 2pm.
Relief: Hours as needed.
