Position: Area Sales Manager – Leinster

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement the sales strategy for the Dublin/Leinster region, with a strong focus on acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts.
* Report directly to the Managing Director, conducting market research and identifying business development opportunities.
* Leverage your knowledge of the coffee industry, market trends, and competitor activity to drive sales and maintain a competitive edge.
* Build and foster strong customer relationships by demonstrating expertise, integrity, and a deep understanding of their business needs.
* Collaborate closely with internal sales, marketing, and technical teams to identify opportunities and drive growth.
* Proactively pursue and close business opportunities within short to medium sales cycles.
* Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and accountability in all customer interactions.
* Willingness to travel as required.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient with a proactive approach to leadership.
* Relevant experience in the foodservice industry, including a strong understanding of foodservice products, equipment, and services.
* Proven success in up-selling, cross-selling, and managing an established account base.
* Experience in generating and closing new business, with the ability to succeed in short to medium sales cycles.
* Capable of working independently, managing your own time, and achieving goals without supervision.
* A dependable, trustworthy professional with a commitment to high standards of integrity and accountability.
* Previous experience with consultative/solution-based selling.
* Skilled in identifying customer needs and providing tailored solutions.
* Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities.
* Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with staff, customers, and operational teams.
* Proficient in using CRM systems to track and report on sales activities.
