This is a key role where you will be responsible for strategic negotiations, overseeing execution processes, and ensuring the optimal management of the aviation insurance portfolio. Your new role
You will lead high-stakes negotiations with clients, brokers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to secure favourable terms and agreements. Oversee the execution of insurance policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement strategies to enhance risk management and underwriting processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative insurance solutions tailored to the aviation industry. You will maintain and strengthen relationships with key industry partners and clients, alongside monitoring market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a commercial environment (in the aviation leasing/financing industry or in an insurance or risk management environment). Proven track record of successful negotiation and execution of complex insurance contracts. Strong understanding of the insurance industry operations, regulations, and risk factors. Exceptional analytical and financial skills, with the ability to evaluate and manage risk effectively. Professional certifications in insurance. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
