Position Overview
Are you an experienced Platform Product Manager with deep technical skills and experience with tying internal platforms to customer outcomes? Autodesk, the leader in 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software, is recruiting for a results-oriented principal product manager in the Autodesk Internal Development Platform team.
Autodesk Internal Development Platform is used by thousands of Autodesk developers to build, deploy, monitor and deliver SaaS products which see the scale of millions of hits/hour. As a product leader, you will drive the roadmap for Autodesk Internal Development Platform by turning our strategy into applicable steps that reduce toil and increase developer productivity. This is an opportunity to help shape the Autodesk Platform and make a significant impact on the future of the company.
You will report to Director, Product Management, Developer Productivity. This is a hybrid working model role.
Responsibilities
1. Use a lean product mindset to lead product decisions, roadmap development, platform technology choices
2. You will be expected to present to CTO, CIO and C-Staff
3. Practice facilitative leadership to lead cross-org decision-making and prioritization with senior leadership to drive adoption Autodesk Internal Development Platform
4. Manage expectations of stakeholders through frequent and clear communication of vision, strategy, and product roadmap
5. Document user needs in workflows, use cases, or customer journeys
6. Integrate usability studies, customer feedback, research, market analysis and the latest technology trends into product requirements to enhance internal developer productivity
Minimum Qualifications
1. 5+ years working as Principal/Senior Product Manager (a must)
2. 3+ years’ experience with platform systems like Kubernetes, data platforms, ArgoCD, and deployment platforms (a must)
3. 5+ years with cloud computing and the way distributed systems interact
4. Break down complex problems into user-focused solutions
5. Experience communicating product updates, milestones, and progress to internal and external partners
6. Manage complex end to end product launches across multiple internal stakeholder teams

1. Can communicate effectively with highly technical teams, business representatives, executives, and customers
2. Is a problem solver who enjoys breaking down complex problems and designing elegant solutions
3. A Product Manager who sets goals, measures success, and enables their teammates to make an impact
4. A customer advocate who can weigh competing priorities and maintain an ongoing feedback loop between other teams and external customers
5. A teammate who contributes to the team growth and continuous improvement
6. An energetic presenter who can tell compelling stories and actively listen to feedback
