Position: Voluntary Youth Clubs and Summer Project Worker

Location: Finglas
Work Schedule: Full Time 37.5 Hours
Contract: 1 Year Contract to December 2025
Salary: €34,513 - €48,125 (depending on experience and qualifications)
Reporting to: Volunteer Programme Manager
The Role: Support existing voluntary youth clubs and develop new clubs and Summer projects where there is little or no service provision for young people.
General Responsibilities:
1. Establish links and professional relationships with current volunteers.
2. Make new links in communities to help establish voluntary clubs and Summer projects.
3. Collaborate with other youth work agencies in Dublin.
4. Deliver training to volunteers.
5. Deliver child safeguarding training to all volunteers.
6. Organise events to link and support volunteers.
7. Ensure clubs operate within National Quality Standards.
8. Ensure clubs meet Crosscare affiliation criteria.
9. Create awareness and respect for diversity and culture.
10. Work effectively as part of the team.
11. Perform administrative duties associated with the role.
12. Work evenings and weekends as required.

Qualification Required & Experience Required:
1. Relevant qualification.
2. Minimum of 3 years experience working with volunteers in a community setting.
3. Experience dealing with Child Protection issues.
