The Strategic Program Manager for eCommerce Transformation is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans that drive the growth and success of the ecommerce transformation program. This role involves conducting market and competitive analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing strategies that align with the company’s vision and objectives. The Strategic Program Manager will oversee initiatives such as Salesforce integration, Vaccine Portal development, service expansion, and continuous improvement efforts, ensuring a cohesive and forward-thinking approach.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy Development and Implementation:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans that support the ecommerce transformation program.
2. Align strategic initiatives with the company’s vision, long-term goals, and tactical approach.
3. Lead strategic planning sessions to gain consensus and facilitate the development of actionable plans.
2. Market and Competitive Analysis:
4. Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
5. Utilize insights from analysis to inform strategic decisions and prioritize initiatives.
6. Monitor industry developments and adapt the product strategy to gain competitive advantage & optimize costs.
3. Growth Opportunity Identification:
7. Identify and evaluate potential growth opportunities within the ecommerce landscape.
8. Develop business cases for new initiatives and present recommendations to senior leadership.
9. Oversee the execution of approved growth initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
4. Program Management:
10. Oversee key strategic projects such as Salesforce integration, Vaccine Portal development, and service expansion.
11. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
12. Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage project stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
13. Maintain clear chains of accountability.
14. Manage multiple competing projects simultaneously
5. Continuous Improvement:
15. Partner with internal business teams to define KPIs and success criteria including management reporting on operational performance targets, workflow coverage, utilization, output/productivity and quality.
16. Drive continuous improvement efforts to improve operational performance and client experience through the use of data analysis and executing on data-informed initiatives.
17. Implement best practices and process improvements to optimize performance.
18. Monitor and evaluate the impact of improvement initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
6. Vision and Strategy Communication:
19. Clearly articulate the vision and strategy for the ecommerce transformation program to all stakeholders.
20. Develop and deliver presentations, reports, and communications that convey strategic plans and progress.
21. Engage with senior leadership to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives.
7. Stakeholder Management:
22. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
23. Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations.
24. Partner with multiple teams across multiple locations with varying sets of priorities to ensure a timely and high quality delivery.
25. Partner with global teams to exchange best practices, align processes and prototype new initiatives.
26. Facilitate collaboration and alignment among cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
27. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Strategic Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
28. Proven experience in strategic program management or a similar role within an ecommerce or digital transformation environment.
29. Strong understanding of market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning processes.
30. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously.
31. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
32. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
33. Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
34. Proficiency in using data analysis and reporting tools to inform strategic decisions.
