The main purpose of this role is:
· To ensure that the Regional Director of Finance has access to expert financial advice and decision support in relation to the delivery of safe health and social care services within the funding available.
· To play a key analytical role for the RHA SW in co-ordinating efforts to assess, establish, monitor and continuously improve the system of internal financial controls within the RHA SW.
· To support the implementation of Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS) and other Finance related projects rolled out in the South.
To provide oversight and line management responsibility for RHA SW Finance Team members.
