Electrical Project Manager - Renewable Energy
A company at the forefront of the renewable energy revolution in Ireland are seeking an electrical Project Manager to join their team.
Due to continued growth and the securing of contracts with major commercial and industrial organisations around Ireland to help them make the move to cleaner energy and self-sufficiency, this is an exciting time to join a company truly committed to leading the energy transition within Ireland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of renewable energy projects – including wind and solar – from initial design through to commissioning and post-installation support.
This is a hands-on role, and will involve travel around Ireland.
Key Duties & Responsibilities include:
* Electrical/Mechanical installation of renewable energy systems
* Day to day support and assistance to Senior Contracts Managers in the management of multi-disciplinary projects, teams, and stakeholders.
* Liaison, coordination and management of internal stakeholders, Clients, third-party Consultants, Sub-Contractors, Contractors, and other Stakeholders as appropriate.
* Management of Subcontractors
* Budget management
* Conduct in-house Project Management training as applicable.
* Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) responsibility
Experience & Qualifications
* Third level Electrical/Sustainable/Mechanical/Project Management qualification. Due consideration to construction project management experience will be given.
* Minimum 2 years Irish Construction experience.
* Full Clean Driving License.
* Irish Construction requirements knowledge particularly around EHS.
* Budget Management.
* Knowledge of renewable energy systems including Solar PV, Wind Turbines WTG, Biomass Boilers would be an advantage.
