What you’ll be doing as a Front Office Executive:
1. Maintain a consistent level of service within the Front Office Department, to demonstrate our philosophy of great style, great food & great value.
2. Maintain levels of service that consistently exceed the expectations of our guests.
3. Be aware of the ambience and the standards of service within the department, and work to the standard operational procedure at all times.
4. Understand the importance of music, lighting, temperature, flowers, cleanliness and language in the department to ensure the correct ambience is maintained at all times, and to work to the Standard Operational Procedures at all times.
5. Upsell hotel rooms to achieve maximum occupancy & room rates.
6. Seek opportunities to sell all other facilities in the hotel.
7. Ensure that credits & debits are posted correctly to guest folios, ensuring guest’s statements are correct on checkout.
What we’re looking for:
1. A bachelor’s degree in hospitality or hotel management is beneficial.
2. Previous experience within a Front Office Department within a hotel.
3. Excellent written and verbal Arabic & English communication skills.
4. Knowledge of an additional language would be beneficial.
5. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
6. Demonstrated ability to manage own and others’ tasks through to conclusion.
7. Highly organized, able to coordinate the efforts of others and manage multiple assignments and projects.
8. Knowledge of hotel PMS (HIS, Opera) and other industry related software programs would be advantageous.
9. Effective problem-solving skills.
10. Adaptable to and plans for the demands of a 24x7 hotel environment.
11. Ability to work to deadlines and maintain composure at all times.
12. Competent in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other software packages.
