Responsibilities of the role include;
* Write and compile bid documents for civil construction projects, ensuring that all required elements are included and aligned with client needs and tender specifications.
* Tailor bids to match the requirements and language of each project, addressing specific criteria such as timelines, costs, and quality standards.
* Ensure compliance with the client's requirements, including legal, regulatory, and technical standards.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, estimators, and other departments to gather relevant information for the bid.
* Research project-specific details, including site conditions, project scope, and client preferences.
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market pricing, and competitors to ensure competitive and compelling bid content.
* Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing and other relevant information for the bid.
* Ensure smooth communication between all departments involved in the bid process.
Qualifications/Experience:
* 2 -3 years relevant experience in a similar role
* Experience within the construction industry
* Strong writing and technical ability
* Ability to work as part of a team
