Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in freight operations with strong route planning skills and a good geographical knowledge of the Island of Ireland and UK. The successful applicant will provide full-time support to a busy operations team, assisting in import key account management, operations planning, and delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Complete day-to-day processing of import manifests and bookings in line with company policy and procedures.
* Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer enquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
* Meet operational delivery needs of customers in the most cost-efficient and effective manner.
* Ensure accurate file management, billing, and costing in accordance with company procedures and time frames.
* Communicate effectively with other departments and external parties to resolve discrepancies and exceptions.
* Display a positive work environment through respect and support for colleagues.
Minimum Requirements:
* 3-5 years of similar experience.
* Previous office administration experience in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of the Logistics/Freight Industry is desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work to KPIs and deliver results.
* Fluent English language skills.
* Good numeracy, literacy, and Microsoft Office skills.
* Highly proficient in Excel and reporting.
