JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking an experienced, analytical and strategically minded sales professional to take on the role of Retail Travel agency Account Manager to represent the Bedsonline brand. You will be focused on developing and growing the Core and Development portfolio base and commercial relationships with our trade partners in your set region across Ireland market.
You will possess exceptional sales and customer service skills and have the commercial acumen to drive significant growth across all areas including TTV, margin and room nights. Working alongside our Account Directors, Sales Executives, and Account Managers and other internal stakeholders to deliver on your targets and also have a good working knowledge of the industry and eye towards acquisition also.
This role is home based, with the opportunity to travel from time to time for events, meetings and conferences internally and domestically.
Responsibilities & Duties:
* Ability to analyze client productivity to find new opportunities to grow turnover, margins and revenue to exceed targets set.
* Drive client acquisition activities.
* Develop relationships with travel agent partners.
* Work with the wider sales & other internal teams to align strategy for the sales area.
* Conduct weekly interaction target with your portfolio of travel agent partners by Phone call / Teams meetings and digital tasks created to ensure target operation model is achieved.
* Maintain and grow commercial relationships with the customers assigned, while achieving targets.
* Constant analysis of the performance & evolution of the assigned clients to increase HBX’s sales as well as prevent any churn.
* Generate new business opportunities via connecting new products or destinations, opening new markets, finding business gaps, promoting HBX’s key business lines, etc.
* Growth in terms of sales and profitability through proactive management of an assigned portfolio of accounts.
* Attending trade fairs, Client conferences and meetings from time to time face to face. International and domestic travel for those events.
Requirements:
* Experience in the Travel Industry;
* Retail Account Manager experiences/ Business development manager OR Telesales experience to manage portfolio of retail and home working travel agencies within the Irish Market.
