Job Title: HR Business Partner
Role Purpose:
The HR Business Partner will provide strategic HR support across Stewarts Care, aligning HR initiatives with organisational objectives. The role will focus on supporting the organisation's goals, particularly in the healthcare and disability services sectors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services that directly impact the lives of service users.
Key Responsibilities:
* HR Strategy: Collaborate with department heads to align HR strategies with organisational goals, ensuring HR initiatives support the mission of Stewarts Care.
* Employee Relations: Provide expert advice and support to management on complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
* Recruitment & Retention: Lead recruitment efforts across departments, ensuring that we attract, select, and retain the best talent. Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
* Workforce Planning: Assist with workforce planning to ensure the organisation is equipped with the right talent and skills to meet both current and future needs.
* Policy Implementation: Oversee the implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice standards.
* Performance Management: Support managers with performance management processes, helping to foster a culture of continuous development and accountability.
* HR Projects: Participate in or lead HR projects aimed at improving HR processes, systems, and employee experience.
* Compliance: Ensure adherence to employment law, data protection regulations, and Stewarts Care policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum Level 8 Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
* 5+ years of experience in a HR role, with at least 2 years in a HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role.
* Proven experience working in healthcare or disability services is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
* Demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
* Experience in employee relations, performance management, and change management.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and complex HR issues.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret HR data and use insights to support decision-making.
* Proficiency in HR management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
* A postgraduate qualification in HR or management is advantageous.
* Full, clean driving licence is an advantage.

Remuneration:
• Current Salary Scale: €55,644- €67,981
LSI (Clerical Grade VI), Your salary is paid monthly (16th unless when 16th falls on Saturday or Sunday you are paid on the Friday prior to the 16th) by direct credit transfer into any Bank or Building Society of your choice where the paypath system operates.
- Salaries and increments are paid in accordance with DOH salary scales
Annual leave • 26 Annual Leave Days.
Working week • The hours allocated to this post are 35 hours exclusive of lunch breaks.- Flexibility may be required based on organisational needs, including occasional early starts, late finishes, or additional hours during peak periods.
Probation • All employees will be subject to a probationary period of 6 months, with an extension if required to 9 months.
This probationary period applies to all employees irrespective of their role or type of role.
Garda Vetting • Stewarts Care will carry out Garda vetting on all new employees. An employee will not take up employment with the organisation until the Garda Vetting process has been completed and the organisation is satisfied that such an appointment does not pose a risk to the service users and employees.
