The EHS Manager ensures operations comply with global Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations, driving a culture of safety and regulatory compliance across all locations. This role involves developing policies, procedures, and training programs, overseeing audits and inspections, and collaborating across departments to maintain high standards in safety and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with global EHS regulations (e.g., HSA, OSHA).
* Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs.
* Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
* Promote safety awareness and manage emergency preparedness.
* Oversee chemical audits, waste-water reporting, and hazardous material handling.
* Collaborate with HR on workers' compensation and return-to-work processes.
* Track safety goals, maintain records, and report data to corporate and agencies.
* Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and enforce a positive safety culture.
Requirements
* 5-10 years of EHS management experience, including multi-site operations.
* Level 7 degree in workplace safety, industrial engineering, or related field.
* Knowledge of HSA and OSHA regulations; experience with compliance.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Lean/Six Sigma experience a plus.
* Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
* CIF Safety Supervisor Certification (or ability to obtain).
* Willingness to travel – sites - Fermoy Co, Cork + Kells, Co Meath
