Our client is currently accepting applications for the role of: EHS Advisor in Cork.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the administration of the risk assessment program across company sites.
2. Manage administration elements of the safety observation and near miss reporting processes.
3. Ensure corrective actions from internal audits are raised, actioned, and closed out as per the corrective actions process.
4. Document existing and incoming legislation and regulations on health and safety on a compliance register, ensuring that actions to ensure legal compliance are documented as part of our management system and that records demonstrating legal compliance are maintained as controlled documented information.
5. Support the health and safety officers to ensure all reports required by legislation for missed time accidents/dangerous occurrences are completed.
6. Maintain and make available health and safety performance data.
7. Support the safety communication plan, including internal safety communications (safety meetings, toolbox talks, safety messaging in notices on screens) and safety messaging to subcontractors and suppliers.
8. Plan health and safety meetings periodically and issue results to all relevant stakeholders.
9. Support the administration of the emergency preparedness and response process in consultation with the operations teams.
10. Work with teams to ensure visitor and contractor safety induction compliance is completed and support the contractor badging process.
11. Collaborate with all teams to ensure that health and safety processes are embedded in the organisation.
