Fexco Managed Services are currently recruiting Senior Data Analysts (x2) to join their SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland) team on a full-time basis, on a 24-month contract.
This role can be based at one of the SEAI head offices (Dublin, Cork, Sligo or Dundalk), with options for hybrid working.
This would include working 3 days remote working and 2 days onsite.

National Retrofit DirectorateThe Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) has been designated as the National Retrofit Delivery Body for delivering on Ireland's target of upgrading 500,000 homes to B2 by 2030, as laid out in the Programme for Government and the National Climate Action Plan 2021.
This will include managing a demand generation campaign, providing advice, grants and supports to homeowners and building supply chain capacity in the market to deliver on these targets.
The SEAI Retrofit Directorate is responsible for delivering energy efficiency and retrofit programmes in the residential and community sectors.
This programme is aimed at upgrading the Irish housing stock to high standards of energy efficiency and renewable energy usage, thereby reducing fossil fuel usage, energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions.
As part of this initiative, the SEAI is developing new schemes, supports and approaches to achieving this aim.
The Senior Data Analyst Role(s)SEAI is seeking exceptional data professionals who are highly motivated and passionate about sustainability and want to help us in reducing carbon and energy use in Ireland.
The successful applicant(s) will work closely with internal business teams and external stakeholders to gather business intelligence requirements, develop data models and produce insightful Power BI reports and dashboards to assist the organisation in making the key data-driven decisions required to efficiently run programmes, deliver on key objectives, and feedback into programmes design to achieve key Climate Action Targets.
Over the next 2 years, SEAI are embarking on a major project to develop an Enterprise Reporting Platform based on Microsoft Fabric technology.
This will replace our existing Azure Synapse Analytics reporting platform.
It is envisioned that all data models and reports will run on the new platform by the end of this 2-year contract period.
The successful applicant(s) will be working across both platforms in this transitional period, working with the latest Microsoft technology ecosystems, and playing an important role in driving adoption of key new technologies in SEAI.
The successful applicant(s) will be self-starters with demonstrable experience in rapidly developing data models, reports and dashboards in a fast paced and diverse environment, with challenging deadlines.
They will have the expertise and skills to integrate seamlessly into a small team of highly dedicated and skilled data experts.
There will be opportunity to upskill in new and emerging technologies whilst also contributing to the challenging targets SEAI have been tasked to deliver under the Programme for Government and the National Climate Action Plan 2024.
Key Functions of the role of Senior Data AnalystThe key responsibilities of the Programme Executive will include but are not limited to the following:
