Role Overview:
Our client, a leading IT services provider in Kerry, is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Field Service Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves delivering on-site technical support and maintenance services to a diverse client base, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
IT Field Service Engineer Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide on-site technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
2. Perform installations, configurations, and upgrades of IT equipment, including servers, PCs, printers, and network devices.
3. Diagnose and resolve technical problems promptly to minimize downtime for clients.
4. Conduct routine maintenance and system health checks to ensure optimal performance.
5. Manage and document service requests and resolutions using the company's ticketing system.
6. Collaborate with remote support teams to address complex technical issues.
7. Provide training and guidance to clients on IT systems and best practices.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
9. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
10. Proven experience as an IT Field Service Engineer or similar role.
11. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
12. Proficiency in network troubleshooting and configuration (LAN/WAN, routers, switches).
13. Experience with hardware diagnostics and repair.
14. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
15. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
16. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Kerry region
