You will be responsible to:
1. Manage the finance functions to support the business strategy and coordinate short term and long term planning.
2. Manage and provide financial information and define guidelines and policies, in order to enable the business to lead Hovione effectively and efficiently.
3. Manage the investment program and define and monitor internal controls over financial reporting.
4. Coordinate tax incentives and grants.
5. Perform group consolidation and be a key stakeholder in transversal projects addressing profitability and structure.
6. Create a strategy for the Finance department of the site, defining and monitoring the annual plan and adjusting priorities throughout the year.
7. Implement and administer established accounting and controlling policies, procedures and practices.
8. Ensure maintenance of general accounting, cost accounting, payroll, payables and receivables.
9. Oversee the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
10. Ensure accurate and timely recording and reporting of operating results.
11. Coordinate activities of financial analysis, interpretation of variances from budgets and standards.
12. Guarantee the balances at local banks.
13. Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and tax authorities.
14. Manage the TMs assigned to his/her area of responsibility, ensuring alignment with Hovione's goals and culture.
15. Develop and propose for approval the short and mid-term goals, annual budget and budget plan.
16. Prepare and propose for superior approval the annual finance budget of the site.
17. Ensure compliance with GMP and HSE guidelines, internal and external requirements.
We are looking to recruit a Candidate:
1. Masters’ degree in Finance, or related field.
2. Technical background preferred.
3. Typically requires 10 years of relevant experience in Finance and coordinating a team.
4. Experience in a “Big Four” with financial auditing responsibilities.
5. Experience at corporate level in a multinational environment.
6. Proven leadership experience.
7. Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.
8. Track record of overachieving targets.
9. Possess extensive knowledge of financial principles and practices.
10. Deep knowledge of the generally accepted accounting principles adopted in the country under responsibility.
11. Good communication skills (verbal and written).
12. Skilled at driving processes and tools.
